The electorate is not stupid so don't talk about us like we are. We knew that the Republicans would redraw the districts and we elected the Republicans to speak for the people. Elections have consequences and the citizens of NC spoke clearly that the Democrats would NOT redraw the districts fairly. The Democrats leveraged their authority to benefit their party rather than represent the citizens for decades. The people of NC have spoken. Quit crying over it.

Interesting to note that an immoral Republican House has penned and passed House Bill 824 "An Act to Establish a Nonpartisan Redistricting Process".......and that this bill currently sits in the Senate awaiting debate and passage only to be eventually met with the Veto stamp of Bev Perdue. Democrats would never willingly relinquish their ability to gerrymander the results of an election--just saying!!

So you are the only one that has a moral, ethical stance? Only the people you agree with, huh?

It sounds to me like you are two sandwiches short of a picnic... and hopefully you are not in the Western NC mountains!

Republican's have proven that they are hypocritical to the extreme and petty in their actions. I am so ashamed of our state for electing these destructive clowns and I am praying we find our way back to a moral, ethical government instead of self-serving or Art Pope serving minions who foolishly risk our stability for a chance to appear as mindless as the Tea Party and gain the respect of clowns like Bachmann, Palin and Perry.
