What is a Poll Presentation?
Every month, the Civitas Institute hosts a poll presentation to release the latest poll results and analysis. Our polling examines voter opinion on the most significant and current issues such as government spending, state debt, health care, energy, social policy, election reform, and much more. Additionally, we measure approval ratings for national and state leaders, allowing attendees to gauge voter sentiment on elected officials.
Why Should You Come?
Attending a Civitas poll presentation will give you the advantage, opportunity and knowledge over people who do not attend by being one of the first to receive polling analysis and results. Join us for the next poll presentation with analysis from Civitas President Francis DeLuca and commentary from some of North Carolina’s top political minds and strategists.
Why Civitas Polling is Distinctive?
As the only regular live-caller poll in North Carolina since 2005, Civitas has become a trusted source of polling information across the state. Elected officials, media, and voters rely on Civitas polling to delve into the issues our state is currently facing and share what citizens are really thinking about the issues.

This month, the featured guest commentator for the Civitas Institute’s poll presentation luncheon will be AFP-NC State Director Dallas Woodhouse. Woodhouse has been involved in North Carolina politics for many years. Beginning his career as a Raleigh-based political journalist with NBC-17, he also spent time on the evening news at WKFT and WLFL. Woodhouse began his stint with Americans for Prosperity as the Communications and Legislative Director for AFP–North Carolina, and took command of the North Carolina chapter in August 2007.
