The left hates U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos for her courage in taking on an educational system that is failing our children.
Critics may quibble with tactics but they should remember the need for reform is compelling and beyond dispute.
In a speech last week in Utah, DeVos laid out those reasons and reminds us why today, more than ever, education needs reform and innovators.
Read the full speech here. It’s time well spent, and it’s a message we all need to hear.
Who would have thought that good ideas could come out of, of all places, the Department of Education.
“The left hates U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos” … define the left as it is related to education. Most teachers I know do not respect DeVos because she is relatively clueless on public education issues. NCCivitas would do well to school itself on public school issues and not rely on narrow and shallow ideology. Her remarks are simplistic and fail to show courage.
The left is clueless on any subject you want to name.
