The first question posed to Easley has to do with the vehicle that was “leased’ from Bleeker. Easley is explaining the history of the Yukon in question – his recollection is mostly from information gained from others this year – he doesn’t remember the details himself. The vehicle was for his son.
This is how the lease would work according to Easley “it wasn’t a typical lease/purchase”
Would get a vehicle from Bleeker Olds, pay an annual amount, the agreement was that the vehicles would be used and not new. “Mr. Bleeker just worked things out, he was satisfied and we were satisfied.” It was custom to retain the vehicle by the Easley family – 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2004.
When Easley found out there had been no payments made thats what got him concerned and interested in this. They did find the copies of the checks for the 2000 vehicle, but Easley doesn’t know what happened to the vehicle in the 2000 election.
