For those of you who are interested, HB 1348, studying regulations for beauty pageants for girls under 13, will be heard in the House Juvenile Justice Committee tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28.
If you are wondering how such a moronic bill was chosen to be heard in committee (when there are dozens of pressing issues and good ideas that don't get any attention), then look no further than the committee's Web site. Rep. Mobley, the bill's sponsor, is one of the committee chairs.
The meeting starts at 1 p.m. and will be held in room 415 of the Legislative Office Building.
