Well, in NC’s versions of toll roads, we do pay for them.
They are taking $25 million a year for the next 40 years out of the Highway Trust Fund for the toll road in western Wake County.
And taking additional funds over the next few years to build toll roads in Gaston County, a new bridge to the outer banks, and one more I can’t remember.
