FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

microbrew

Our March 2017 poll asked about the growing microbrewery industry in the state. We asked voters:

In 2005, the North Carolina State Legislature passed a law that allows for the sale and distribution of beer with a higher alcohol content. This legislation created a fast-growing microbrewery industry resulting in over 150 new microbreweries and new jobs in small communities across the state. Do you think state lawmakers should continue to reform regulations to encourage the continued growth of the industry?

60%     Yes

28%     No

11%     Don’t Know/Refused
