AdvancED accreditation: Is it worth it?

This morning the Wake County School Board voted to proceed with a review of the system’s high schools by accrediting agency AdvancED Inc. In an opinion piece in this morning’s Raleigh News & Observer Civitas Institute President, Francis De Luca tells us why school board members should consider scuttling the current model for ensuring academic quality.
