“What Matters in North Carolina” recently looked over rumblings in the media about a repeal of House Bill 2, (HB 2) in North Carolina.
Host Mark Shiver asked Lt. Gov. Dan Forest if conservatives should feel let down or disappointed if HB 2 is repealed. He replied, “Yes, I think there’s no doubt about that.”
Forest added, “The people of North Carolina especially who have fought so hard just to protect what is right and what we know is right, they’re going to be very disappointed with this if a repeal goes through with no plan in place to keep it from happening again.”

I can’t believe that our representatives would repeal HB2. I sure think our cities that have representatives that think girls want to undress and shower with boys or go in the restroom with boys or men have got a mental problem. I don’t want my daughter, granddaughter, sisters, or I to be in dressing rooms, showers, or restrooms with men or boys. I don’t want HB2 repealed. Just because someone thinks he is a girl doesn’t mean he is. If the women that thinks it’s ok let them go in the men’s restrooms.

It is not uncommon for elected representatives to be afraid to admit their mistakes.

Repealing HB2 is the NC government SELLING the safety of the female population to a bunch of corporations who don’t care and who don’t have “skin in the game”. (I thought the leftist hated corporation sellouts? My mistake. )
What if a sick rapists dresses up like a women and attacks a girl at a NCAA basketball tournament or a Springsteen concert, who’s to blame? Not NCAA, surely not “The BOSS”. Nope, just your local security and law enforcement. Which would be incorrect because if HB2 was repealed, those security officers would be FOLLOWING THE LAW. When FOLLOWING THE LAW makes us LESS secure, then that law is a FAILURE and DOES NOT deserve to exist.
