The National Rifle Association must be on target with its latest batch of political ads opposing Barack Obama. How do I know? Instead of just countering the NRA spots with ads of his own, he has dispatched a squad of lawyers to scare broadcasters into pulling the NRA ads by questioning their accuracy.
Clearly, Obama has plenty of money to respond to the ads and he does currently have an ad running on the radio in Raleigh featuring the head of a union-backed alleged hunters’ group. But why has he decided to try to restrict the free speech of a group of American citizens? Their money is just a green as his. Apparently the NRA ads hit a little too close to home for Obama.
Obama comes from one of the most anti-second amendment cities in the country, Chicago. Despite the promises in his radio ad, gun owners should beware of what’s in store for them under an Obama administration.
